The Foragers Garden – perennial vegetables and edible forest gardening.

Are you interested in creating a low maintenance, productive and sustainable food garden? Join us for an inspiring workshop covering perennial vegetables, fruit and edible forest gardening, where you will learn how to grow food in harmony with nature using permaculture principles

This workshop is suitable for all gardeners, whether you are a beginner or just looking to expand your knowledge of food plants. You will gain the knowledge and confidence to grow an abundant, self-sustaining edible landscape.
Arrive after 9.30 to start at 10am. We finish at 12.30 in time for lunch in the restaurant. This is mainly a theoretical course although we will briefly spend some time outside looking at the foraging border in the kitchen garden at The Homestead. Please bring suitable clothing for the weather conditions.
You will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and please bring a notebook and pen if you wish to make notes.
